The Teaching Praxinoscope is an enlarged version of Émile Reynaud's 1875 moving image device. It accepts 4 x 6 index cards and participants can make and display 16 frame animations using any type of drawing or painting media or photos, circumventing the need for digital technologies. It's just fun!
